The first thing will be regulations on ammo, second, where it’s sold (5 inches from a park, school, church, etc), they’re already trying to serialize ammo. we’re living in an upside down world. As for 45 ammo like shotgun shells, the 410 is probably close to the same circumference, but it’s shell is too long to use in a revolver or semi-automatic.
Perhaps some else out there knows of an ammo that comes close to what you are seeking.
It’s been quite a while since I handled a 410 shell. Someone may pipe up that it’s circumference is more different form a 45 than I remember it. I suppose you could shorten the 410 casing, so that it would fit another gun. It’s something I would find interesting to know.
