Medved calls Carter “The Worthless One”.... and he make no apologies about it. He really means it, and I agree with him 99% on that. That missing 1%? Carter turned me into a Republican, (read my FR profile), so I guess he was good for something.

Pros of Jimmy Carter:

He gave us the Gipper. For someone with complete control of congress, he didn’t do nearly the amount of liberal damage that LBJ did by massively expanding entitlements.

Bads: He made the middle east the ****hole it continues to be today, almost destroyed the economy, and was the most organizationally dysfunctional president of the last century.

Yea, I LMAO when I heard him say that. He was implying that this is a common Christian belief. What church did he hear that in? And how many miles of back roads of Northern Idaho did he have to drive to get to it?

A weak reference to the millenial kingdom, I presume. In that kingdom, Christ will reign from the throne in Jerusalem. That kingdom will contain those who are in Christ - a group about which God's word has said there is neither Jew nor Gentile, male nor female, slave nor free.

The statement by Carter belies his claim to be a Christian. It drips of hatred for the whole truth.

Carter basically says he will get a different result than Chamberlain got at Munich in 1938 because he has spent more time and effort schmoozing Hamas and the PLO than Neville spent schmoozing Hitler.

But, wait, it gets dumber. See this Carter quote:

Christians believe that in the second coming, Christ can't come back to the Holy Land until all Jews are either dead or become Christian.

I've know people from scores of brands of Christianity and have never once heard any of them making a statement even close to this. Is there anyone from even a tiny obscure sect who can collaborate what Jimmy says here. Isn't Jimmy a faux Baptist? Don't the Baptists believe (with most of Christendom) that the Jews will recognize Jesus as the Messiah when he comes the second time?

Or is Jimmy just playing the "moral equivalence" game again? (i.e. believing = actually killing)

A very loose interpretation of Revelations that can easily be shown not to be true. Medved correctly pointed out that NO Government has that in their charter. It is just a canard used by the Peanut Whisperer to claim that the Palis have a right to keep their current charter. Carter is completely owned by the Palis.
