So much for the funny papers being a part of the newspaper to escape bad news.

Dilbert never was. It was always cutting commentary and was frightening on how close it was to reality.

OK, time for Best Dilbert Moments at Work.
I’ll start.
Annual performance review (mostly a formality at my place) The boss is sitting at his desk telling me how wonderful I am. He pulls a big glob of Silly Putty out of his deska nd starts playing with it. He actually had it for a purpose cause we were thinking of using a product like it as a flex agent in one of our products.
He makes something flat and flesh colored and put it up next to his ear like a big huge ear.
I leaned back and called him Dilbert. The review was about over at that point cuase we were laughing too hard.

My favorite Dilbert:
His boss comes up to him and complains that his laptop is locked up again. Dilbert tells him to hold it over his head and shake it. He does, and says “Hey, it’s working again!” As he walks away Dilbert’s buddy asks him “Are you ever going to tell him it’s an Etch-A-Sketch?”
