The Israeli office of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories slammed UNRWA and accused the United Nations organization of creating a provocation. Despite not having received Israeli approval, UNRWA drove several trucks carrying supplies from Jerusalem to the Gaza border crossing and coordinated their arrival with several media outlets, which filmed the trucks being turned away.

Can’t Israel create a device which causes static to appear on video cameras within a certain radius? They could help deny the left their media-driven Antisemitism by eliminating the staged video propaganda.

It's a mystery to me why Israel allows anything "UN" on their soil.

I would think that the better response would be to show the trucks to a “parking area” to await clearance from higher headquarters. Have them park in close to minimize the space used and then put two vehicles at the front and rear of the “convoy” to “provide protection against attacks” (but effectively blocking them in so they cant move). And let them sit in the sun to bake for a few hours - along with the press.

All the while telling the cameras ...”Apparently this is just an administrative mix up. The aid organization did not provide the required documentation to cross our borders and we are now in the process of correcting their clerical error”.

Wait till the majority of news trucks leave and then tell the convoy that “I’m sorry, you paperwork can’t be completed from here, you will have to return to your compound and apply through proper channels.”

“UNRWA spokesman Chris Gunness said the organization’s schools in Gaza, which opened last week, only had 60 percent of the needed textbooks and that the paper was needed to fill the gap. “

Since the textbooks are used to incite Palestinian children to hate Jews and Israel, the delay is unconscionable.
