Widespread shortages of guns, ammo and reloading supplies have been all the "rage" here and elsewhere on the internet.

Yep. And that's IF you can find one.
Wolf Military Classic 7.62 x 39 is going for about 270-300 bucks for a case of 1000 if you can find it.
Remington XP-100 in 7mm benchrest... A specialist gun developed for metallic sillouette shooting. The 120 grain round will take down a steel ram at 200 yards as often as you hit it. Trigger pull on mine is somewhat less than one ounce.
Shooting position is on your back with the forend braced against your calf.
Nice one!
My buddy has a .221 Fireball. He’s accurate very at 150 yds.
Wrong, it’s somewhat true about bullets? But, I think you were really trying to say “You can’t have enough cartridges! or, maybe that “You can’t have enough ammo! Do you understand that you are talking about the metallic element of a cartridges/rounds alone? Without gunpowdwer, primer and casing. I don’t want to build complete rounds/cartridges at home. I want a ready to use supply
steel core 223 or 7.62 X 39 is my only potential necessity. Do you have a line on any 100k boxes?
Your absolutely right. It's something my father would say to me as a child whenever we went hunting or shooting. So the expression carries on in my memory of him. A "pill" without the rest of the equation is a bit useless.
“And I will not buy reloaded ammo from anyone unless they can conclusively prove the quality of it, who knows, for all you know you might just be buying a huge can of bullets loaded with sawdust.”
Sawdust would have been greatly preferred in one case. What looked like the run of the mill .223 mil spec stuff turned out to have a nasty habit of blowing the head off the rest of the cartridge.
Cause - too much powder, maybe the wrong powder, could have been too long a case, too.
Beware the infamous “Bag O’ Bullets”.
