Labor needs to adopt this tactic here in the USA and revolt against the unions, especially on the illegal immigration issue...

The Eye-ties are a whole 'nother issue...

I thought that foreign workers were good for the economy not to mention the benefits of multicultural diversity and all that.

Wasn't it just a few months ago that Dems were proposing a European style amnesty for foreign workers here in the states? Believe the unions support it as well since foreigners are reliable Dem voters.

There is also nothing in the Constitution that allows for trade agreements to be passed without a 2/3 vote of Congress...

I live on this (US) side of the puddle...

But, I have to admit, my brothers have been sleeping at the switch. Don't forget they lost almost a whole generation of their best and brightest saving our ass. And they did...

Yep. The Brits are really in a tough spot. They practically stood alone during the some of the worst of a great war and lost a whole generation of their best. It really pisses me off to see some of the less than respectful comments. We are going to be in a tough spot here ourselves and I would much rather have the Royal Marines invade to help than a bunch of ragheads coming unchallenged to pillage...
