He goes on to say that he is pro-life and pro-marriage amendment and that those positions will not change for the GOP. But he wants to reach out to other voters on “the other issues” like economics.

Steele helped found a group that supports candidates, yes, *candidates* who are pro-abortion and pro-homosexual. That is far more than simply "reaching out".
