He’s a kid and he was having some fun after years of rigorous training. His only real sin was being stupid enough to get photographed doing it.
I don’t understand all the excuses for him. He’s 23 not 15, he’s supposed to be training for the next Olympics, it’s illegal, it’s against everything he’s trained for his whole life.
He’s a great example of what not to do when you get a little fame.

I love the comment that he's just a kid. I was just a kid at 16 years old and a PFC in the Marine Corps. It's weather one grows up or becomes stunted. He can kiss off the mega $$$$ he thought about. Also he has a history of F up's.
