That’s fine, but you can usually do the same with your ISP (create multiple email accounts) and set rules to filter however you want, Outlook has so many more options than gmail.

Outlook used to be a little on the bloated side but I do not consider it anywhere near bloated status with the last few versions. It’s fast, fairly small footprint and unlimited in its power. It’s actually one of Microsoft’s best products. If you want bloat see Lotus Notes.

gmail is simple to use but lacks the power and depth of Outlook. I also find it faster and easier to do work with Outlook than through the gmail interface - so much so that I pull all my gmail into Outlook.

Gmail is not even on the same planet as Outlook, when it comes to power, features and depth. It’s not even an issue. It’s like comparing a Russian Lada(Gmail) to a BMW(Outlook).

Every customer that I have converted to Lotus Notes is absolutely amazed at how much better it is than Outlook. Re: bloat, the newest version has a considerably smaller footprint, and much more power!

BTW - who announced an increase in earnings last year, and who took a loss? IBM up considerably; Microsoft is down.
