This guy must have just found a copy of Paul Ehrlich's 1968 book that predicted we would all be dead by starvation and riots by the year 2000. Same crap different year.

Watch the DVD “Demographic Winter” and you will know with the sociologists and economists who put it tegether, that our huge problem in the next 40 years will be a big decline in the percentage of the younger age groups. Population is increasing for the next few decades only becasue the older folks are living longer. As one Harvard commentator said in the movie “It is not that we are reproducing like rabbits, it is that we are not dying like flies.” When the population over 60 expands and the population of workers to support them declines, we will be in for some rocky social-economic times. Why do you think Russia, Italy, France, Sweden, Japan and other countries are trying desperately to increase the number of babies born? Green issues decline in popularity in the face of economic hardship. If the greens were truly interested in promoting their cause, they would champion more children to stabilize economies. Like so many issues that the greens promote, there is little reasoning and excess emotion.

My generation followed his advice. Had abortions or limited the size of their families because we were told of the crisis of overpopulation. Now the politicians open our borders because they claim we don’t have enough cheap labor. Really, they are trolling for more votes. We have gone against evolution—limited the size of families on one end of the spectrum while encouraging reproduction on the low end thru government policies. I’ve told my kids to have lots of kids—they are smart conservatives and we need more of them!
