Has the State of Kentucky asked the Federal government for assistance?
That MIGHT be a good question, but when that question was asked after Katrina, we were all told that the state of Louisiana shouldn’t HAVE to ask, it should all just happen, remember??
Remember Pres. Bush waited, but no request came from Gov. Whatsername, so he took the initiative to offer it, but still didn’t get a coherent answer. He also told her to get the people out of the path of the hurricane.
SHE couldn’t make a decision and blamed it all on Pres. Bush.
Blanco didn’t ask Bush for help either until it was too late. That didn’t stop the media from their caterwauling.
