You’ve got that right. I’ve got my tickets for both races at PIR (April and November). It’s going to be interesting to see what the crowds are like. Last November was pretty slow at PIR but a lot of Americans were pretty depressed only a week after the “election.”
I think a LOT will depend on the tracks and how they go about selling their tickets this year and Jr was right about the hotels gouging people. They raise the price x3 in Ft Worth when Nascar comes to town. :(
And VERY important IMO will be the success of the top drivers, Stewart, Gordon, Johnson, Harvick and of course Jr. If they can make the races interesting and closely fought even with the poscot then the season will be good. Sponsorship is pretty much locked in for the big teams, the samller one car owner will have to scrimp and scrape I’m afraid. But, that’s always been the case.
