Surely a man so angry at those who accept fat paychecks while their companies take billions from the government, a man who accuses those fatcats of “treason,” won’t wait for Pres. Obama to sign into law the proposal that Sen. Claire McCaskill made today. She is introducing legislation that would capt the compensation of those who work for firms who have received bail-out fundsat $400,000–the same salary the President of the United States receives. You can watch McCaskill discuss her plan with Norah O’Donnell on MSNBC this afternoon. Among other things, McCaskill calls the people taking the big bucks “idiots.”
Olbermann’s MSNBC is a subsidiary of GE, whose GE capital subsidiary recently received . . . $139 billion in government loan guarantees.

By the way, who cares if people in the past “dreamt of cornering the Gold Market, or monopolizing silver”? They couldn’t have been successful. Oh, and by the way, there is a monopoly on currency today, perpetuated by the only body capable of perpetuating monopolies: our beloved government.

Based solely on the number of people watching KO’s show on PMSNBC, it works out to $20,000 per viewer, I think.
On another thread, Nader says Rush is on welfare as his show goes out over govt-regulated airwaves. Well EVERYONE in broadcast-land should accept the $400,000 limit. Miss Couric? Mr. Williams? Miss Walters?
