Emanuel’s answer to the Republican shutout is to announce that the Democratic Party will target Republicans by running campaigns in their districts to tell the voters that their representative “voted against 4 million jobs.”

Won't work. By my calculations, 182 of 189 Republican incumbents are invincible in 2010. No amount of cash or ads can defeat them. The Dems defeated the low-hanging fruit, and then some. That's it. It only gets easier for us from here on out. Senate too...where we should deliver a similar result.

Finally, in 2010, the Dems are on the electoral defensive. We need to unite. And prepare.
