Michael Chertoff should be on the list for leaving the southern border of the United States wide open while grandma has to take off her shoes at the airport.

If you’re referring to the nude bartender, then also guilty;

Worst employee No. 8: Jamie Day, bartender The story: Day was arrested after a patron at a bar in Alton, Ill., called police to complain that Day was bartending in her birthday suit. She was charged with misdemeanor lewd entertainment. The county suspended the tavern's liquor license for 30 days and fined the owner $500. (Source: Fox News)

Who was the pathetic moron who called police?

She should be given a raise and the moron banned from the pub.

I guess we’ll have to wait til the 2008 list comes out to read about Rod Blago and Henry Paulson.

Okay, if she looked like Helen Thomas or Hillary then I can see it but, if not, what exactly was the problem? The way I look at it is that she was helping her employer bring in customers (I suspect the patron complaining looked like Helen or Hillary)

A whole lot of stuff that’s behind the average commercial bar is at crotch height or lower. Do you really want to know why there’s a hair in your scotch?

Rod Blagojevich: Attempted to sell an Illinois Senate Seat. Was caught, impeached, and removed from office. He continues to plead his innocence and likens himself to Gandi, Martin Luther King, and other honorable people. He also related his arrest and trial to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Needless to say no one was amused or feels sorry for this criminal.

Marie Cooley, architect

IIRC, she had misunderstood the situation and it wasn't actually her job that was being advertised, so the damage she caused her employer was for no reason at all.

Of course, they did advertise for a replacement for her, but that was after the fact ...

Worst employee No. 7: Robert Irvine, chef and TV personality

The story: Irvine embellished and fabricated the more impressive parts of his résumé, including claiming to have cooked for the British royal family; catering to four U.S. presidents; and helping to make Prince Charles and Princess Diana's wedding cake. His contract with the Food Network was terminated. (Source: St Petersburg (Fla.) Times)

This guys show is still on the Food Network. The show is called Dinner Impossible and there are different scenarios where he shows up and has to oversee the preparation of meals for large groups of people in a very short amount of time with some special requirements that need to be met. He is British and to me he seems like he knows what he is doing but he can be a real jerk sometimes to the people who are assigned to help him prepare the meals. It is, or at least was, an entertaining show.
