Gay activists map strategy
The Examiner ^ | 1/30/2009

Posted on 01/30/2009 9:25:42 AM PST by markomalley

Gay-rights activists meeting in Denver start the tough work Friday of mapping out plans to see the new administration adopt policies they favor, while recounting what went wrong last year in failed attempts to defeat anti-gay ballot measures in California and other states.

The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force wants to see President Barack Obama make federal changes they say are years overdue, such as repealing the military's "don't ask, don't tell" ban on openly gay service members.

But gay-rights activists say they're afraid they'll be on the back burner in Washington as the economy dwarfs all. And activists say they have work to do in organizing opposition to ballot measures such as California's Proposition 8, which overturned a state Supreme Court ruling allowing gay marriage.

Seems that they are more on the front burner during this administration than ever before.

I just wonder what dirt they have on him.

How about they stop engaging in risky behaviors that cause the spread of deadly diseases? There’s an agenda item.

Why can’t they just live their lives like everyone else...quietly. These folks just make it worse for themselves. I wonder how many homosexuals are pissed off about these radicals. I bet the number is pretty high.

The government by the people, for the people, and of the people should oppose their purposes at all costs. They not only want national approval, but tax-payer funding!
If they ever get legalization for their practices, all control on STDs will be lost, and our children and even animals will be their legal victims.

God forbid!!! (Don’t even think it!!!)

In my opinion, it is time we returned to traditional American Judeo-Christian values and made the practice of sexual perversions illegal. If you are gay, lesbian or hetero and are caught practicing perverse sexual acts, you should be tried and jailed.

If men and women are going to have separate showers because it would be “iffy” to put them together, then afford the heterosexuals privacy as well and put the homosexuals into their own baracks.

they’ll target CA right off and they’ll target small towns etc to get their people to move into like they did in a small town in CO.
They’ll also target certain legislatures around the country but of course they will keep it quiet.

I wonder how many friendly judges they have on their map for their future law suits.

Some say we do not need a fed constitutional change but the trouble is that while we don’t then these homo’s get married and then move to another state asking for divorce. Now they know if the new state gives them a divorce then they can sue to get marriage recognised as by granting the divorce they have recognised it.

they got married because they had an agenda

they have to be stopped and we have to get the word out mroe and more about their filthy perverted agenda

Get a camera at these homo events and get them to the media , on you tube and around the internet.
so those who know a couple of homo’s and say well they are nice can now see what they really are like when they are with their own perverts

Assuming we're talking about consenting adults in private, where does the government gets its power to arrest anyone for sexual activities?

And, define "perverse sexual acts."

Yep. It's all part of the Sex Positive agenda to end all moral judgements over sexual pairings and agressive "smash monogamy".

No Regrets for a Love Of Explosives; In a Memoir of Sorts, a War Protester Talks of Life With the Weathermen (NY Times Published: September 11, 2001)

He (Bill Ayers) also writes about the Weathermen's sexual experimentation as they tried to ''smash monogamy.'' The Weathermen were ''an army of lovers,'' he says, and describes having had different sexual partners, including his best male friend.

They feign innocence. They have an agenda. They refuse to go on record about it. Obama spoke with them at a private fundraiser in SF about how he needed their support to combat the issues votes in flyover country, the kind who cling to religion.

They will say one thing among fellow travellers and another thing in public.

don’t trot out that old horse.

The argument about Lawrence v. Texas is that it was about “consenting adults in private”. Immediately after the decision, it was decided that it also permitted minors to not only engage in same sex sodomy acts with one another, but also for adults to engage in same sex sodomy with minors under the age of consent if the state made the same “romeo and juliet exception” for homosexuals.

So lets dispense of that consenting “adults” nonsense, shall we? There is nothing in any law ever after the Supreme Court activist ruling that will permit outlawing certain sex acts because someone is a “minor”.

And with regards to same sex adoption. When does the adopted child consent to be brought into an alternative lifestyle home?

And with regards to “in private”, nope. Schools actively discuss homosexuality as another lifestyle. It’s not in private.

And if you meant actual sexual acts, the homosexual agenda (as respresented by the GLBT task force) seeks to end laws against sex acts in public bathrooms and parks.

Sexual Freedom Activists Target 'Archaic, Unjust' Sex Laws (6/01/04 | Susan Jones)

In addition, the project will examine laws against public lewdness, "which are routinely misused to persecute and prosecute people who participate in non-traditional forms of sexual expression."

"I've seen firsthand how the misuse of these [public lewdness] laws has ruined the lives of gay and bisexual men," said Matt Foreman, executive director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force.

I can see the logic of that. Age of consent laws should be applied equally. States can always change such laws, of course.

There is nothing in any law ever after the Supreme Court activist ruling that will permit outlawing certain sex acts because someone is a “minor”.

Sure there is. States can pass whatever age of consent laws they want for people under 18. They just need to apply them equally to homo- and heterosexual conduct. All States have age of consent laws that make it illegal for people under a certain age to have sex with someone older than a certain age. No SCOTUS decision has invalidated those laws.

And with regards to same sex adoption. When does the adopted child consent to be brought into an alternative lifestyle home?

I wasn't discussing adoption. At best, I'm ambivalent when it comes to allowing homosexuals to adopt.

And with regards to “in private”, nope. Schools actively discuss homosexuality as another lifestyle. It’s not in private.

You brought up the issue of sexual activity, not discussing the existence of homosexuality.

They can seek whatever they want- that doesn't change my position. Sexual acts in private between consenting adults should not be a crime. Sexual acts in public should be prosecuted.
