One down, about 500 to go in Chicago...
He now has only one way to make any money or contributions..information on the various investigations in IL. He will sell to the highest bidder. Let’s follow the money and see who starts supporting him.
Look, Obama interjected himself (while being cleared by an investigation... he did HIMSELF) into this case so he wouldn’t be called as a witness on the impeachment. By then, the ADD media and country won’t be paying any attention to anything that happens at the criminal trial. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if the criminal charges were dropped soon.
This is all very fishy and I also find the fact that the stimulus has a part in it that says Illinois gets NO FUNDING if Blago is governor. I cannot see how that is legal.
This is a Presidential temper tantrum and a warning to everyone else on not messing with Obama. Plain and simple.
And it disgusts me.
Colorful... a new euphemism for Corrupt.
Oh yeah, and they had his belongings boxed up at the Governors mansion before the vote.
Doesn’t Blago get a retirement check?
Relationship to Ron Fournier?
Ream ‘em, Blago!
Tell us everything you know. Like Obammy, we’re all ears!
Think of the sweet taste of REVENGE! Don’t listen to that “served cold” nonsense. Serve it HOT, baby! It’s the talk show circuit for you, you big-haired, handsome celeb. Hurry before you go to jail!
Bring down Rahm-bo. Bring down that Valerie Jarrett beyotch. Bring down OBAMA!!!
uhm... then FOAD, you corrupt ‘Rat slime. Or at least rot in prison forever.
Now he should write a tell all about Chicago politics and name all names!:)
I was hoping he could do a little damage on his way out. Maybe he still can.
Hmmmm... haven’t seen that take on it. Interesting.
I’ll have to pay attention to the outcome and remember this post, so I can either pat you on the back and say “wow, you are one smart prescient gal”... or else HA HA! WRONG!!!
‘cause it can’t go both ways.
:-)
>> I was hoping he could do a little damage on his way out. Maybe he still can
Oh, he DEFINITELY still can. Being knocked off the governor’s throne sux, to be sure... but it’s nothing compared to federal prison!
SING FOR YER SUPPER, ROD!
... or “rod” won’t just be your first name, it’ll be what your cellmate Bubba gives you for yer present on yer wedding night, ya scumbag...
You said — “He now has only one way to make any money or contributions..information on the various investigations in IL. He will sell to the highest bidder. Lets follow the money and see who starts supporting him.”
Ummm..., a book deal, movie rights... :-)
Give him a week, and then we'll read a story about his early demise from a heart attack.
Well, if I’m wrong, it won’t be the first time.
I hope we haven’t heard the last of B-Rod.
I’m hoping he can bring down Emmanuel, Jackson Sr. and a few others with him.
I’d like to know what he discussed with Harry Reid.
Wtach Zero issue a pardon to B-Rod in the future to buy his silence. B-Rod can still do a lot of damage.
Excerpts from the transcript:
Fitzgerald: "In the governor words -- governor's words, quote, 'Fire all those bleeping people. Get them the bleep out of there. And get us some editorial support', close quote. And the bleeps are not really bleeps."
(snip)
Fitzgerald: "A month or so ago a $1.8 billion tollway project was announced. While that tollway project was being announced, Governor Blagojevich was privately seeking to have a person benefiting from that contract raise $100,000 in contributions, and privately the government (sic) said, 'I could have made a larger announcement but wanted to see how they would perform by the end of the year. If they don't perform, bleep 'em.' That's a quote. And the word 'bleep' was not the word he used."
(snip)
Fitzgerald: "The governor's own words describing the Senate seat, quote, 'It's a bleeping valuable thing -- thing. You just don't give it away for nothing', close quote."
Fitzgerald: "Another quote, 'I've got this thing, and it's bleeping golden. And I'm just not giving it up for bleeping nothing. I'm not going to do it, and I can always use it; I can parachute me there,' quote. Those are his words, not our characterization, other than with regard to the bleep."
Fitzgerald: "The tapes reveal that Governor Blagojevich wanted a number of things in exchange for making the appointment to the Senate seat -- an appointment as secretary of health and human services or an ambassadorship, an appointment to a private foundation, a higher paying job for his wife or campaign contributions."

Blago's wife...
"Mrs. Blago, the former Patti Mell, won the hearts of old-school thugs everywhere with her f-word-filled rants captured on FBI wiretaps, some of which were colorfully detailed in the criminal complaint against her hubby..." --Michelle Malkin, December 17, 2008

Don’t sweat it. I mean, I personally have never ever been wrong*, but it can’t be that bad... you’ll get over it.
But seriously... not very well hidden in my teasing is the acknowledgement that you may very well be RIGHT. I make light of it but the thought of it makes me a little sick to my stomach.
*and if you believe that I have some stock in my 101K you may be interested in buying...
