Washington, DC -- During the Bush administration, President Bush displayed his concern for both mother and unborn child by putting an administrative rule in place allowing states to cover unborn children in the SCHIP program. On Thursday, the Senate rejected an amendment to make that administrative rule national law.
Sen. Orrin Hatch sponsored the amendment to codify the Unborn Child Rule and the Senate rejected his motion on a 59 to 39 vote.

Probably because the left can’t recognize the unborn as a ‘child’, or it will unravel all their abortion of the unborn ‘children’.
Nice. Our Gov’t wants to subsidize abortion but not prenatal care. As Pelosi said, it decreases costs.
All I can think of is this. Was 9/11 or 1/20 worse for the USA?
They can’t recognize the unborn as a child needing prenatal, because that would be an admission that the unborn IS a child, and that would ruin their abortion on demand since they maintain that the fetus isn’t a child until after birth.
They boxed themselves into a corner on this one.
If Mrs. Soetoro is really with child; does she have to abort because it will reduce costs?
1/20 definitely, I don’t know how we will ever recover from this.
At least there’s SOME spending they’ll reject.
Step on a “protected” turtle egg on the beach face federal prison. Torture, starve, burn, bludgeon and butcher the precious unborn and you are en vogue.
Remember “Schindler’s List”, 8 million Christian and 6 million Jews killed by the Nazis. What about Blackmun’s list? Silence. 50 Million human beings, 100% unique and genetically complete human being at conception have died at the hands of democrats like Nancy Pelosi who says killing babies globally with taxpayer money will “help save the economy”. If you have not noticed that the lines between good and evil are as stark as they have ever been do something.
We are in the time of choosing. Liberty or Tyranny, Free Markets or Nationalism and the government choosing who lives and dies in early life and late life. Satan is smiling that man on earth is making his work so easy.

Anybody got a link as to who voted how?
I often wonder why and when people will wake up to the fact that the only thing that can save us is a Libertarian government.
Pro life or pro abortion Liberatarians?
States right kine. Get an amendment going if you don’t like it. To me it is easy to see it is WRONG. But it aint the Feds biz. I want little tiny small government in DC.
OK, one more question. Do states have the power to countenance a trip for you into the soylent green machine absent due process?
“They’re not worthy” ping.

I guess depends on whether you’d rather die by fire or dismemberment.
Without any doubt whatsoever: 1/20
