It doesn’t need to reach into my home and regulate me with regard to my pets. __________________________ I generally agree with you and assume you take good care of your animals. But there are those out there who have no regard for the fair and painless treatment of animals. When a pet owner puts his dogs litter of 9 puppies in a trashbag, alive, and then puts his garbage can out to be picked up or an owner beats his new puppy because he/she isn't housebroken yetand has an accident I says regulate the scumbag monster right into a jail cell. People who will do this are socialpaths and very dangerous characters.

Joan, if you generally agree with me, then you should realize that I would have the same reaction to what you mentioned as you would.

No amount of regulation would stop that. Good neighbors calling in would. We both think that type of person should pay a heavy price for doing that.

I also agree that folks who are cruel to animals, are a real threat to treat humans inhumanely as well.
