Spain would greatly benefit from the Holy Inquisition. So would the US, pederast priests and all.

The number of people tortued and killed under the Inquisition is a fraction of the number of babies butchered and slaughtered in modern Spain.

Rather than waste time arguing with me, why not look up “Black Legend” and see where that takes you?

And while you’re at it, remember historian James Michener’s statement that no man who could stand up and say (quotation approximate, but close enough) “I am a Jew. Everyone has always known I was a Jew, and I have never pretended to be anything else,” was ever laid a finger on by the Inquisition.
