White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said the lawmakers will have to answer to their constituents I agree...the ones that voted for this insane bill will have much to answer for.

Its clear the Republicans who voted against the stimulus represent constituents who will be stunned to learn their member of Congress voted against [saving or] creating 4 million jobs, the aide said. So it's 4 million now? Wouldn't it make sense to postpone the stimulus bill a couple of months until the fictional number is up to at least 10 million?

I do believe that there will be people in districts all over the country that will wonder why, when theres a good bill to get the economy moving again, why we still seem to be playing political gotcha," Gibbs said.
Why does Obama need to do this? It passed the house. If the Dem's vote for it, it will pass the Senate. WHY is he trying to force Republicans to vote for this. Doesn't he want the Dem's to own this fantabulous plan?

The Bill passsed. The only thing they’re bitching about is they have no-one to blame but themselves when it fails.
3 to 4 million jobs? Give me a break, they’re starting to believe their own lies now!

Pushing back against the unanimous House Republican vote against President Obamas stimulus plan, the White House plans to release state-by-state job figures so we can put a number on what folks voted for an against, an administration aide said. Go ahead, socialists. I just pray that the GOP leadership is smart enough to respond with the cost per job and how long it will take our children and grandchildren to pay back the $2,000,000,000,000 (two TRILLION dollar) debt for liberal fraud, waste, and abuse.
Oh. Right. McCain is our "leader". I hope there is a conservative governor somewhere who is willing to speak up and explain why it's better even for her far northern state if no one gets this wasteful spending, not even the people of her state, than if everyone gets these "stimulus" programs and our kids get to pay.
