White House Unbuttons Formal Dress Code

The capital flew into a bit of a tizzy when, on his first full day in the White House, President Obama was photographed in the Oval Office without his suit jacket. There was, however, a logical explanation: Mr. Obama, who hates the cold, had cranked up the thermostat.
Mr. Obama has exhibited a relatively informal working relationship with aides like his staff secretary, Lisa Brown.
“He’s from Hawaii, O.K.?” said Mr. Obama’s senior adviser, David Axelrod, who occupies the small but strategically located office next door to his boss. “He likes it warm. You could grow orchids in there.”
Thus did a rule of the George W. Bush administration — coat and tie in the Oval Office at all times — fall by the wayside, only the first of many signs that a more informal culture is growing up in the White House under new management.
Mr. Obama promised to bring change to Washington and he has — not just in substance, but in presidential style.

As far as I know, Slick never lived in a trailer. In my opinion, He never elevated his self to the trailer trash level. Her Heinous is a native of Chicago.
Oh yeah, let’s get wrapped up in a dress code debate; that certainly pushes forward the debate on what he is attempting to do to our constitution.
If he is greeting dignitaries in shirtsleeves then that is disrespectful on his part but working at his desk? Who cares. So if BO Plenty wears a coat and tie each day while working at his desk does that mean that he respects the office and constitution?
The steaming obama that has been crapped into the oval office is what he is and we should damned well focus on what he is trying to do to our republic and how to stop him; not on petty superficial things like “he’s not wearing a coat or a tie”. For crying out loud stop worrying about dressing a turd up in a coat and tie and what the rest of the world might think about him going casual.
Lower that temp and put a jacket on, Obama!!!!
