What is really creepy is that a lot of families are happy with behavior usually seen under dictatorships.I'm currently watching the World at War series that was released in the mid-1970s (you can view the series for free at veoh.com). Funny how we never seem to learn from history. Obamamania is reminiscent of many things that happened in Germany pre-WWII.

No maam. I said flag. I swear I did. That's funny.

Funny how we never seem to learn from history. It would help if they would teach history instead of revisionist history.

No, I didn’t.
There’s another story about something similar. I’ll ping you to it.

It's the form of salute used by my mom and dad when they were in school. They didn't do it that way for long. They were supposed to say "I pledge Allegiance" with hand over heart, then extend their arm out for "to the flag." Yeah, there's a post farther upthread from RaceBannon about the two-step salute. I didn't know about that aspect until yesterday. Thanks for the additional info/confirmation.

From the story, it appears this teacher has a projected image of 0bama that she turns on for the pledge, and turns off after.
“keeping your eyes open” would not reveal this.
You’ll have to have your kids looking for stuff like this.

Oh, believe me, the kids would tell.
I want hubby to look around for things the kids might not have noticed, or don’t realize are blatant propaganda. Like that Pinwheels for Peace crap the district pushes on the kids every year.
To: MrB
Rest assured. I’ll hear about it.
