WASHINGTON (AP) — Senate Republicans, who acted like lions in challenging Eric Holder, turned into lambs Wednesday as they joined Democrats in recommending President Barack Obama's choice for attorney general.

The Judiciary Committee voted 17-2 to endorse Holder, with two Republicans opposing the nomination — John Cornyn of Texas and Tom Coburn of Oklahoma. The Senate could vote as early as Thursday to confirm Holder as the first African-American to lead the Justice Department.

. . . . .

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said he supports Holder's view that the country needs to interrogate terrorism suspects based on American values.

"I am confident this new attorney general will have a balanced approach and I look forward to working with him. I know he's made mistakes and so have I," Graham said.

What an utter schmuck! With RINO Senators like Graham, the Dems just laugh and laugh in their chambers.

Some days, I marvel that Dick Hartpootlian was right during Graham’s first campaign when he called Pandsey “light in the loafers.” I don’t think Pandsey’s gay, but he damn sure is a lightweight as a Senator.

I wish the ghost of Ol’ Strom would rise up out of the ground in Edgefield, fly to Washington, and kick Pandsey’s ass.

Few make them so consistently. The endorsement of Holder is another mistake.

Too bad the clowns in D.C. never accept responsibility for their mistakes. Don't worry, guys, the American people are here to pay for the errors of your ways -- for at least a little while longer.

I dunno. Law of averages?

I don’t care if he packs fudge or dates a supermodel. I care about the fact that the guy’s a Democrat-lite who seems to enjoy schmoozing with the guys across the aisle while backstabbing his own party.

So now not only will the background check system be mysteriously out of service at times, but worse is yet to come.

Encoded ammo, buyer database anyone?

Grahamnesty is most certainly gay, but really who cares about that. He is a prolife lib who doesn't give a crap what his constituents want. I call his office so often they know my voice.
