It’s just my experience, I have had so many people say “Oh I don’t like that guy” and they are not politically engaged people very much, maybe leaning conservative. If they took the time to listen, they would change views I am sure.
But Rush has a bit of humorous bluster that some people are put off by if they take it serious and do not listen long enough to “get it”.
Yes, it drives me to fits.
We have others that make the same conservative case though in different styles, I expect their number will grow during the Obama admin.
They want to take away our rights to freely express ourselves.
They will not succeed.
OH I cannot stand her.
I put her below pond scum on my list.
But the ordinary type of person, especially woman will watch her. My wife is pretty damn conservative, but she will watch her sometimes, “because of the guests” or some damn thing. The MSM has demonized Rush too, so some people have a negative impression without listening.
Of course these liberals want to shut down as many avenues as possible that proscribe to the conservative viewpoints. These liberals want to run everything, tell you how to live, what to eat, what to drive and how to think and they will silence or attack anybody who disagrees with them. In other words, these liberals are nothing but a bunch of communists who want to brainwash everybody.
Don't forget the GOP. They told Rush to back off too.

Yes. They are using the Alinsky tactics from his Community Organizing Street Agitation 101 - Rules for Radicals. Limbaugh is the target because of the emotional reaction he causes in liberals. Now that Bush and Cheney are gone, Rush is the liberals' bogeyman.

Not since Nixon went after Jack Anderson have we seen this kind of thing. Aren't Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews enough to keep Obama worshipped and slobbered over?
