Democrats Launch Petition Against Rush Limbaugh Tuesday, January 27, 2009 By Melanie Hunter-Omar
(CNSNews.com) – The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has launched an online petition for readers to express their outrage at conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh for saying last week that he wanted President Barack Obama to fail.
The petition includes a 19-second sound byte of Limbaugh, saying, “If I wanted Obama to succeed, I’d be happy the Republicans have laid down. I don’t want this to work. So I’m thinking of replying to this guy, say ‘okay, I’ll send you a response, but I don’t need 400 words, I need four: I hope he fails.’”
Meanwhile, Obama advised Republicans last Friday to stop listening to Limbaugh if they wanted to get along with Democrats and the administration.
“You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done,” Obama said to Republican leaders who met with the president to talk about the stimulus package.
The Republican National Committee did not return calls requesting comment.
Think it is legal since the bast&^*% exempted themselves from the "no call" list requirements.

I emailed support of Rush also. I hope we didn’t bolster their effort in some way.
Last time I checked it was a free country.
This is hilarious. These people seem to forget how we all were told by them it was patriotic to dissent against the President. When Hollyweird types came out and trashed the President and anyone objected we were there was “a chill wind blowing through the nation”.
We have seen movies and books written fantasizing about President Bush being assinated and we were told to lighten up and that it was art.
When democrats in Congress accused America and our President of all sorts of lies, crimes and horrors in speeches on the floors of Congress wit our enemies listening again we were told that was patriotic.
When bumpers stickers, shirts an protest signs were made cursing the President againthe leftwing told us that was alright.
But now they are all up in arms because Rush has said that he hopes that Obama will not succeed?
Ho the hell do these people live with themselves? They are absolutely two-faced.
They are trying that Saul Alinsky crap. I have a feeling a lot of that stuff won't work in the internet era. A lot of people are realizing what they are doing. We can tell them just which one of Alinsky's rules they are applying in each situation. That kind of blunt's their secret attacks. Knowledge is power. Go get 'em Rush.
Time to call a few Republicans and tell them to come up with a statement. He has their back, time for them to have his.

I mean seriously folks. The Government is having a hissy fit over a TALK RADIO HOST, for crying out loud.

I support my president, but I don't support his war against America.
Because of course the Democrats have been so vocal in their wish that President Bush would succeed in all his endeavors in the past eight years...

I was just about to say that maybe they should write another letter so Rush can auction it off for charity.
I wonder if Rush would ever go to Serius or XM satellite radio. Stern did it. If there is enough demand, the private sector will fill the void. The fairness doctrine will only move conservative talk radio to another medium like satellite radio or the internet.
They will push the fairness doctrine and we can beat them over the head with censorship and silencing the opposition. They will push their pet liberal programs like contraceptives in the stimulus package, money for foreign abortions, gays in the military, and gay marriage. All of these are unpopular ideas that are even more unpopular when people are losing their jobs and the economy is in the toilet. Then the democrats will be given the boot in the next few elections. When the masses turn against the democrats and the press, the democrats and the press will turn against Obama and the democrats will lose elections. Of coarse democrats will blame Rush Limbaugh. He is the only republican left with any political power.

The funniest part to all of this is that the democrats actually expect people to believe that conservatives should want Soetoro to succeed in expanding government and establishing newly found rights for terrorists, homosexuality, healthcare, etc...
I told everyone I knew from even before the election that I would not support Barry Soetoro and that his and the democrat agenda is not good for America. I support America!!! and not the fascist socialist democrat party agenda.
