I agree, they’re both jokes !! When the Republicans took over the house in 1994 they couldn’t say enough nice things about Rush and how he had such a positive influence on them taking over..Now that they have screwed it up its somehow Rush’s fault. What a bunch of limp-wristed b@$t@rd$.
Actually they are both good Republicans and very good politicians, especially McConnell. But they are not as vocal as they should be in leadership positions nor are they capable of attracting broad consensus among conservatives and independents.
Tom Delay and Newt Gingrich packed a wallop that the democrats feared, so much so that they threw every resource they had including their media to destroy them.
We need Conservative leaders that make democrats lay awake at night in fear. But we must not alienate those in the power ring such as Boehner and McConnell.
So Rush is right as usual. But to be fair to McConnell, he should give credit for all the brilliant work that McConnell has done behind the scenes.
