Gillibrand voted last September for legislation that would have repealed a ban on semiautomatic weapons in Washington, D.C., and end criminal penalties for anyone possessing an unregistered firearm in the city. The bill, which passed the House 260-160 (with the support of 82 Democrats), never advanced in the Senate. I do not trust her
