Barack Obama tells the Middle East: 'Americans are not your enemy'
US President Barack Obama has told the Muslim world that "Americans are not your enemy" and renewed his pledge to travel to make an address in the capital of a major Muslim nation.
In his first interview with Arab television since becoming president, Mr Obama told the al-Arabiya television that his administration would adopt a more comprehensive approach in its relations with the Muslim world.
He also said that Israel and the Palestinians should resume their peace negotiations and he praised Saudi King Abdullah for putting forward an Arab plan for peace in the Middle East.

In that interview Omama also said, “We’re going to follow through on our commitment for me to address the Muslim world from a Muslim capital,”
Isn’t that nice. I suppose during WWII, Franklin Roosevelt and Harry S. Truman, should have gone over and made nice talk with Germany and Japan. I’m sure that would have ended the war altogether.
Omama, with his babbling, sniveling, appeasing mouth, has ensured another attack on the United States. The Arab world, if they had any doubt, now knows just what a coward he is.
Barack Obama does not speak for me or millions of Americans who consider the bastard a traitor and illegal alien not even eligible for the office he holds.

No, we'll come out OK but B Hussein will look like the p-ssy that he is. He'll act nice, the media will rejoice, the crowds in the Muslim world will cheer, but within 6-9 months they will be burning his effigy again and saying "Death to Obama" because the Muslims have only one bargaining position. Then Obama will look as silly as Clinton and Jimmy Carter.
Remember Clinton's Middle East forays? All that negotiation, all that glad-handling, all those treaties, the Nobel Prizes for Arafat, and even the last minute (November 2000) meeting to try and finalize a deal. Arafat didn't sign, and Clinton basically told him that he'd ruined Clinton's legacy.
Remember Carter? Came in as a dove, and look how nice the Iranians were back to him. Carter ended his hapless four years as a hawk, increasing defense budgets and approving weapons systems that horrified liberals. In his case, too, niceness got him nowhere and didn't advance the cause of peace one iota, again because Muslims have only one bargaining position.
The real ones at fault here are the 63 million idiots that voted for Obama and believe that he can change things in the Middle East just because he has a smooth voice, is our first black President, and wants to be nice. He won't change anything.
But we won't be screwed. We'll be fine.
