In case Sasha and Malia Obama don't have enough social engagements, the First Daughters now have an open invitation to visit the set of the next Harry Potter film — from Daniel Radcliffe himself.
"I'd like to take this opportunity to issue a public invitation to the Obamas that if their daughters would like a private tour of the Harry Potter set, I would be honored to be their personal tour guide," he said in an interview with The Daily Beast.
But he may have to wait. The girls have already been invited to the set of Hannah Montana, and the Jonas Brothers turned up to surprise them at the end of an inauguration-day White House scavenger hunt.
White House officials have been mum on any future celebrity meet-ups.
Radcliffe's other comments in the interview get into grown-up territory. He talks at length about his fan base among gay men — "When you know a gay guy has a crush on you it is the most flattering thing," he says — and makes a somewhat awkward transition to the subject of boarding schools.
"That's one thing Harry Potter has done if nothing else," he said. "It has restored the reputation of the English boarding school. It has made it something other than a hotbed of homosexuality. Every time a new Harry Potter book comes out, the numbers at English boarding schools go up."

Dear God, please make this stop. Saturday I ran across a story about Michelle being upset because her daughters had been copied into little dolls. STFU already media. The only thing in my long life I can remember like this was all the fuss about what Jackie was doing every hour of the day, what color toilet paper was in the residence, blah blah blah. But NEVER a word in the main stream about Jack running out the back door for a quickie.

Not on my dime, or in their case, hundreds of thousands of dollars in security costs, preparations, jet fuel, etc. every time they go out and have "fun".
I read an interview with the director of “Goblet of Fire,” and when he was comparing Bush with Voldemort, that was enough for me right there, plus the fact that he was teaching this bilge to the young stars. These people are sick. So, I’ve had nothing to do with HP since then.

Please don’t begrudge those little girls their fun. That’s just so petty. How do we know that That One and Michelle aren’t paying for it? And since they’d have to have Security with them no matter where they are, why not let them be kids?
First of all, I would wager $100 that Obuckabooma doesn't pay a penny out of his pocket for any thing his ugly wife or two kids end up doing. He thinks that is once again his kingly right and that we the taxpaying sheeple are obligated to pay for anything & everything about that ursurper president.
Secondly I bet no demoRAT ever defended the Bush twins for just being girls entitled to their fun. As I recall the libtard media made sure every transgression was splashed across the front of newspaper & nightly news stations.
Why do repubs or Freepers or nominally conservative folks continually do all the pandering & appeasing to lib socialist democrats INCLUDING THEIR FAMILIES, while the demoRATs scream & howl & demonize ANY repub family member. Just look at how they demonized Sarah Palin & her family, who genuinely were the real thing.
If I want to hate & rail against Obuckabooma & his ugly socialist wife & his kids, I think I have as much right to do that as the dems & media do against Repub families. I am not interested in cutting Obuckabooma OR his entire family any slack in the war against socialism.
