Want to know what Obama really thinks of the 2nd Amendment?

Obama claims to have been a Constitutional law instructor. It seems that many of them have the warped idea that in regards to the first 10 Amendment, even though they were approved "en bloc," and all ten use similar phrasing and wording, 9 of the 10 mean one thing, while the wording of the tenth (the second Amendment) means something completely different. Hell, I'm sure that Obama doesn't recognize the validity of the 9th or 10th Amendment either.

I wish it was only Barack Mugabe who had contempt for the Constitution, but I believe that the entire American political class has nothing but contempt for it.

That certainly isn’t enough to make your case on. You can read Freepers say the same thing without meaning what you contend.

Could they and should they change give to recognize? Sure.

But to ascribe the motive you do to them based on this is really thin ice.

I was in a Wal Mart just the other day and their shelves were pretty low on everything except shotgun ammo. Another customer asked for a specific ammo, they were out. When asked when more was coming in, the person said they had no idea. But if they had more ammo they would have no problem selling it.
So it makes me wonder exactly how true your sources are.
Perhaps the big retailers have been tipped of an upcoming action the citizenry is not privvy to?

The time I believe is very close to a major confrontation between citizens and government.

Nothing has been restocked on the shelves since Nov. 4th as the try to move all their stock from the warehouses.

It could also be as easily explained by the rush on ammo is such that manufacturers are having trouble keeping up. Thus creating 'bubbles' in the line of supply.
I think we'll see them catching up. That's not to say that there ARE retailers who are being jerks about it. But I think the majority can be explained by normal market dynamics.

Check out other gun retailers. It’s the same story. Ammo is disappearing. Same at gun shows. Are people hoarding? What ammo I do find is very very high. I hope this is a temporary thing.
