WASHINGTON (AP) — Of course it hurts to lose.

And John McCain also says that after losing the election to Barack Obama, the easiest thing to do would have been to feel sorry for himself.

But the Arizona Republican is back in the Senate, part of what he calls the loyal opposition to Democrats in power, and ready to work with Obama.

We not only lost the election but the war as well. If the war was so important, WHY DIDN'T YOU FIGHT?

MCCain didn’t throw the election.

He tried as hard as he could, which is pathetic, but true.

“worst campaign in history.”

No, that would be bobdole. He ran a worse one than Juan McCain.

Let’s see if you can show how he supported her.

In his first television interview since the election, the Arizona senator and presidential candidate said he was proud to have had Palin as his running mate and grateful that she agreed to run. "She inspired people. She still does. And look, I'm -- I couldn't be happier with Sarah Palin. And she's going back to be a great governor, and I think she will play a big role in the future of this country," he said on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

At least my "hobby" doesn't involve wearing kneepads for a liberal Democrat. I can't say the same for you, though. *snicker*

McCain was actually more aggressive than Dole, but you can’t put the bar any lower than that!

He is correct that Sarah Palin energized the party and has a bright future.

His team crippled her with the unnecessary abasements by Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric--

--by defining her beyond repair through predictable show trial production techniques.

He further crippled her with limited exposure at the outset, and an overriding censorship throughout.

He was only the candidate because of open primaries which allowed Democrats to select him as the easiest to defeat.

He sought defeat in refusing to use Hussein's character as an obvious disqualifier.

He defended and supported Hussein throughout the campaign to a greater degree than he promoted the core principles of the party of Lincoln and Reagan.

He isn't "hurt" to have lost the election--he worked hard to do that.

He is ready to "work with" Hussein.

Juan, Juan, Hussein isn't going any place conservatives want to go--

--but you two should get a room.

Or a limo.

McCain didn’t throw the election.

It always was, always has been, and always will be, all about McCain. He is the only object in the universe.

He was? I must of missed it. All I heard from him was what a real good guy Obama is and how we should not attack him. Is that agressive?
