Some racists would say its their West African genes (most Ricans, like Obama being racially mixed), but I think it has more to do with lack of cultural commonality, low educational/professional achievement, and a perennial chip on the shoulder toward others. Unfortunately you may be right. Except for backlash from the blacks and their white democrat enablers. There are many displaced skilled professionals who left PR to come to Florida, particularly after Congress destroyed the tax breaks the pharmaceutical industry had in PR. Skilled, trained chemical engineers, technicians, pipefitters, etc. What I cannot understand it the acceptance of democrat anti-family policies from people who are so conservative in their family values. It is NOT possible to look away from gay agenda, socialism with a new face. Course the Cuban-Americans think differently on this whole subject.
