Biden doeosn't see himself as a deputy president, but as a confidante. The agreement they have says Biden will be in the room for every major decision. Confidante and advisor is his role.

Schieffer asks about Republican position on too much spending but not enough tax cuts. Spending was put there as much by Republicans, he says.
Biden says the product coming out of the Senate will get significant bi-partisan support.
You would think that at least the republicans would bring it up during the confirmation hearings...(eye roll)
Says increasing unemployment payments gets the money out the door quicker than dropping the tax on unemployment benefits.
He is asked about Pelosi's statement that the stimulus package may cost a lot more.
Biden says that the 350 billion will be released because Biden and Obama will look at every allocation. (Gee, that makes me feel better.)
Back to the talking about credit freeze. Next they will talk about Guantanomo and Pakistan.
Interestingly enough, the day of the Pro Life march to D.C. had almost all the calls stating the pro life position and/or complaining about various O positions on just about everything.
I thought maybe I was in the twilight zone. I see CSPIN has reverted to it’s old self.

Schiefer points out that there are really bad people down at Gitmo. Says that if judge lets them go, are these the kind of people you want loose in the US.
Biden says that they won’t be released in US, since only 1 is an American citizen. They are doing one prisoner at a time, because many countries don’t want them.
Symbolism of Gitmo has increased terrorism. (Again, tehy are worried about symbolism.)

The dems are fit to be tied! LOL....or should I say the sheeple. This was an inside job from the start.

Biden says the Gitmo thing is “very complicated.”
Schieffer is asking about the drone attack. Schieffer says President Bush gave permission to go over the Pakistani border to get Al Qaeda. Asks if Obama will keep that policy or change it.
Biden says he can’t get into it. Biden does say there is more cooperation from Pakistan. Talks about Waziristan (?) and agreements with how to deal with cross-border movements.
I don’t know what to expect anymore...
