GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip Bearded Hamas leaders on Friday delivered an envelope with five crisp $100 bills to a veiled woman whose house was damaged during Israel's invasion of Gaza, the first of promised relief payments by the militant group.
In another part of the territory, a bulldozer cleared rubble and filled in a bomb crater where a week before a top Hamas leader had been killed in an Israeli air strike.
Since a truce took hold this week, ending Israel's three-week onslaught, Gaza's Hamas rulers have declared victory and gone out of their way to show they are in control.
They have pledged $52 million of their own funds to help repair lives, the money divvied up by category. The veiled woman received compensation for her two-story home in the northern town of Beit Lahiya.
Hamas, believed to be funded by donations from the Muslim world and Iran, has promised $52 million in emergency relief. This would include $1,300 for a death in the family, $650 for an injury, $5,200 for a destroyed house and $2,600 for a damaged house, he said, adding that these are not yet compensation payments, which Hamas promises will follow.

Where exactly does the Islam world get it’s money?
Four words, ‘foreign aid and oil’
There, fixed it.
They print it. When the Finance Ministry in Lebanon was hit by an Israeli bomb, stacks of uncut $50 bills littered the wreckage. Thing is, I am almost positive that $50 bills are illegal to ship out of the country in this manner.
A more important question might be where various media figures get their money.
At first glance, it might seem that puritanical Islam is the last thing in the world the dissolute, metrosexual denizens of the western media would be likely to support.
However, we have seen that super-flush oil ticks are not shy about presenting American academics with huge grants, gifts, honoraria and other bribes. There is no reason in the world that speaking and consulting fees, investment capital, and similar supplemental income could not serve the same purpose for the media.
The average media beast would sell his grandmother for a two percent improvement in ratings or a higher profile time slot or byline. What might they do for a few million in a Swiss bank account?
kind of like japan and germany declaring victory at the end of WWII. good luck with that.
Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt (to a lessor extent), Lebenon, eastern Pakistan, parts of India, Bangledesh, Nepal, Somalia, other small militant groups in Africa, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, eastern China, southern Russia, et al. Do you need a list of nations that are negatively affected by Islamofacists? Such Islamist radicals cover almost a third of the globe.
Radical Islam is in EVERY continent on this planet. It is a recorded fact. And when once it achieves political power, the nation changes for the worst.
Islam is a scourge on humanity. I don't give one shit if any Muslim claims to be "moderate". They always say that until they get enough power in a given nation to DEMAND Sharia Law- THE most awful political system ever envisioned by mankind.
Hamas declares victory...Bet they can’t wait til they attack Israel again...They’ll probably finish the job...(snicker)
Anything that can be rebuilt can be blown up again.
five thousand for a destroyed house; one thousand for an ended life. shows where Hama’s priorities are

As usual, the MSM is agog over the “efficient” delivery of social services by Hamas and Hezbollah. Handing out $$ is one thing, rebuilding will take lots of time.
Sadly, I’m sure a lot of this $$ is coming from the West (including the US, EU) and the UN. This is no doubt hijacked aid $$ that always seems to end up in the hands of Hamas.
from oil and from the United Nations begging other nations to send “aid”.
Hell we send them money to help the needy. where do you think it goes when it gets there? You think that the terrorists let food pass into the hands of the hungry rather than it’s fighters?
