Gov. Paterson rapped Caroline Kennedy at a private event the night before he tapped Kirsten Gillibrand for the Senate, telling guests Kennedy had been "nasty" to him and shown "disrespect" with how she bowed out, attendees told The Post.
The governor's attack came just hours after his office issued a statement wishing her well and disavowing quotes from a source close to him who had told The Post Kennedy had never been in true contention for the seat and was "mired" in personal issues.

What a nasty comment for the Gov to make. While Caroline may be the world’s worst wannabe Senator, the Gov has surely handled this badly and in a ugly ugly way. Why does he need to talk about her, leak infor, etc?

True, but with people like Patty Murray(D) in the U.S. Senate, it hard to find the bottom of the RAT Senatorial incompetence pool.
I think we need 60 Minutes to interview Blago on the twists and turns of the NY U.S. Senator selection process.

She didn’t return his call for a few hours? That’s just Kennedy Call-In Syndrome. Ted had it, most notably in the morning of July 19, 1969. Alcohol is said to aggravate the condition.
