Good post and thanks. I watched a Natl Geographic show about Bush’s secret Thanksgiving flight to iraq. It was on I think last night.

It was heartbreaking as was Bush’s presidency. I contributed money in 2000 and 2004 and made lots of calls in 2004. The whole amnesty thing was too much. The thought that amnesty meant he was controlled by others. I never thought that with Reagan and some say this is why they tried to take Reagan out.

Bush did respect the office and he was incredibly gracious towards the people who worked for him and the soldiers. It was real too. It really tore me up to watch it.

Back to your post. This man is a muslim. He is talking about a refugee program for America plus ACORN getting tens of millions or more. If these things happen it is over. The country is already changing rapidly due to open borders but by 2010 you can pretty much forget it. This faux stimulus scam is just another example.

The market and economy crashed in large part because of him. Look at the charts when it all starts sinking when Hillary loses the nomination which is really stolen. O used ACORN thugs at the caucuses.

I no longer believe we have a rule of law or a Constitution in this country. The rules and laws are enforced for some people.

To be sure, the Constitution is not being respected by those who were entrusted to safeguard it. That doesn't mean we throw our hands up and give up.

Americans aren't always the sharpest knives in the drawer but, we still have the ability to surprise people. Even though we (conservatives) sometimes tend to think that they don't know what's going on, the American people are a lot smarter than they are given credit for. I know that things look bad right now but I think we have to be patient. I am convinced that this situation is going to take care of itself in the relatively near future. I've been around for a long time and have seen the pendulum swing back and forth a time or two. It's easy to get disheartened by listening to the news and, sometimes, logging onto FReerepublic isn't as cheery as it could be.

It may be useful to do SOMETHING, instead of waiting around for the right things to happen. That'll make ya nuts. So, here are some things you might think about doing: 1) When the tide of public opinion starts to turn against the Obamessiah and the Dems, if the 'Pubbies aren't ready with a slate of strong conservatives with backbone and an agenda of their own to step in after we win back some or all of the Congress in 2010, we'll be right back where we are today. We need Republican candidates whose conservative values and principles are unshakeable. We need conservatives with backbone who won't be afraid to stand up to the liberals and take the fight to them. We need conservatives who understand that winning back America isn't a football game, it's the very future of our country; our children's country and our children's children's country.

The Democrats think politics is like winning the Superbowl. For them, it's only about winning or losing and they could care less about policy, propaganda or dogma. We conservatives know differently and understand what is at stake. We must be ready in 2010 with strong leaders who are prepared to show America that the Republican morass we had under Bush is gone and that we are ready to return to the days of Reagan. If we don't, America truly is lost!

You could be part of making that happen by getting involved with the Republican Party in your area. Talk to young people and help them understand that big government just means more FEMA and more Katrina-like fiascos. Help them understand the things they aren't learning in school like the history of this country, why our Founding Fathers wrote the Declaration of Independence and why, 200+ years later, we are in a worse position than we were in 1776. Help them understand the Constitution how it was intended to work and how the politicians from BOTH sides have circumvented, ignored or trampled on the provisions of the Constitution that the Founding Fathers so carefully and thoughtfully ironed out. Most important, help them understand that freedom and self-reliance are what made America great and that the politicians we have at ALL levels have corrupted these attributes by trying to substitute more government for self-reliance and freedom.

If you get angry or frustrated and just give up, we can NEVER win. A friend of mine once told me one of the most valuable pieces of information I've ever had - there's only one way to eat an elephant . . . . . . one bite at a time. We have an elephant to consume and, if we never take the first bite, we will never get rid of the elephant. It will always be there blocking our path.
