PRESIDENT OBAMA TAKES ON RUSH LIMBAUGH IN NEW MEDIA WAR
WASHINGTON -- President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.
"You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package.
One White House official confirmed the comment but said he was simply trying to make a larger point about bipartisan efforts.
"There are big things that unify Republicans and Democrats," the official said. "We shouldn't let partisan politics derail what are very important things that need to get done."
That wasn't Obama's only jab at Republicans today.

Lord Obama The Most Merciful has it all wrong. RINOs don’t listen to Rush. If they did, they’d have a clue as to how to stand up to the Democrats. Now he’s stepped in it, because no one, not even a spineless RINO, wants to be told whom he can or can’t listen to.

Excellent post, Leni. Obama has been out to neutralize Rush for quite a while. Remember during the campaign when Obama attacked Rush in that down and dirty ad in Spanish ...

Bipartisan efforts really means, “Kiss our ass and don’t expect a reach around”.
Hopefully there are enough men and women in the USAF that remember they are suppose to protect us "from all enemies, foreign and domestic."
Man, that’s a great idea. Properly proposed to El Rushbo, he might just do that. If he does, I’ll buy one of each. I’d get a few coffee mugs. Take one to work just to tick off the libs that work there.
His MO is to divide and conquer... the old Stalinist tactic... weaken your enemy to the point of destroying them. That's exactly what Stalin did, he destroyed his enemies by weakening and undermining them. Once alone and alienated from the populace, these people were fired, sent away, exiled etc, and were depicted by his controlled media as enemies of the state and ultimately through “legal means” (his kangaroos trials), he permanently purged and silenced his critics. Divide and conquer is the tactic of socialists and communists.
Obama should be spending a few days in office thanking his lucky starts for living in a country where someone who hasn't done diddly squat in his life is now the president of the greatest nation on earth.
