Error in processing monthly donations caused double billing for some accounts.

Dear Monthly Donors,

I'm very sorry, but somehow I made a procedural error and some of our monthly credit card accounts were accidentally double billed. I've already found and reversed several and will continue searching the last few batches and will send through credits for any double billings I find.

If you see a double billing from FR on your credit card statement, please let me know and I'll reverse it. If you wish to discontinue your FR monthly please let me know and I will understand.

Again, I sincerely apologize for my error.

I echo the sentiments of others here.

Keep it. It’s only money.

Freedom is more important. Even if you quadruple bill me it’s still cheaper than a $300/hr shrink.

I don’t want the money back...I want those horrible server problems to stop instead.

Just coming back on after a few days trip and seeing this is a hoot!

How many people would own up to the error and try to fix it?

I planned to say keep it, but after reading all the other responses I think I want to say...”Bill me twice too”!

Sorry this month is going so slowly. Sign of the times, I guess.

Thank you all very much. I’m very sorry about the error. Credits have been processed for all the over billed accounts and I pray I never make such an error again.
