Read Sowell’s “Conflict of Visions” if you want to know why we value “the old” and the traditional, and why the left does not.
We understand the value of millions of people, over the centuries, developing traditions and laws based on what works the best in the laboratory of history. This is “inarticulated knowledge”.
Leftists put NO value on “inarticulated knowledge” and ALL value on what can be articulated by an individual person. After all, being a modern person in present day automatically means that he has more knowledge than anyone in the past.
