Ping!
Stan O’Neal and John Thain can rot in hell for all eternity. Hillbilly Boy Ken Lewis is another corprocrat who deserves eternal damnation for what he is doing to Merrill.
So, like every other Wall Street firm, Merrill bought Barney Frank too.
Was everything gold plated?
Goodness.
Wouldn’t have thought it possible.
For 90k, that rug better fly
With a cloaking device.:-)
How much is Obama going to spend redecorating?
I worked at a company where the CEO had expensive cherry or walnut flooring installed in his office and then put a carpet over it. Think next day. Concrete building, his office was on the fifth or sixth floor.
He didn’t make much as a CEO and that’s like having a small penis. He had one of the mailroom guys wear a chauffeur’s uniform and drive his cheap Mercedes. Mailroom guy told everyone he was dumber than dogshirt, he had to spend hours driving this butthead around.
Thankfully, he died from brain cancer, God comes after some people who really need dying.
The memo announcing his cancer said it was “no problemo” M/L.
No one believed it, he was in the ground within six months.
Five months after I left for a better job.
wonderful. What a star. I bet he is still paid better than 88% of Americans too, even sitting on the Giants Practice Squad or whatever he is doing.
“Thankfully, he died from brain cancer, “
How very Christian of you.
definitely the wrong thread
He’s not the first, my ex-elementary school principal suffered the same fate.
I think God knows when to cull the flock.
Being sarcastic, I presume.
There are some people the world is just better-off without.
If the thought had been expressed "May he burn in Hell for all eternity", that could be said to be unchristian.
That thought wasn't expressed.
Someone whose name is based on "Demon" hasn't got a whole lot of room to complain about others "Christianity" or lack thereof.
may I suggest pistols at dawn under the Oaks?
What do you expect? These guys looted their shareholders and customers, then they looted the US Treasury. The Age of the Robber Barons is back.
Short swords! At 100 yds!
Cleverly enough. The one is not going to spend a dime in the public areas. All the funds will be spent on their private family quarters.
I really don't have a problem with the Obama's redecorating the family quarters of the White House. After eight years of another family living there, I'm sure that it needs some refurbishing. I understand that he won't immediately be redoing the oval office, so I guess that the $62,000 rug that Bush put in there is safe for awhile. I gather from what I read that changing the rug is one of the first things a new president does. Congress sets aside $100,000 for redecorating, but I don't know if that is just for the oval office or for everything that has to be done.
