He kept the sunburst rug that Lady Laura designed. It was in the picture of Obama entering the Oval Office the first time. Obama also kept the desk President Bush used.

Obama also took off his jacket in the Oval Office — something Presidents Bush #41 & #43 and Ronald Reagan never did. THEY had too much respect for the office.

It was not wise IMHO for media/photographer to get a shot of 0 without a jacket in the Oval Office so soon. OK he says he and the American people want change is this the sort of change they want though.

I believe in a recent interview GWB was actually asked if ever did go into the Oval Office without a tie and jacket and his answer was along the lines that it probably did not wear both 100 per cent of the time. IMHO I would suspect it would have been late at night or the occasional weekend and just a quick pop in and out and certainly not a photo or film clip available.
