The Chicago political machine gone national.
The only men in power we have fighting for us are preaching to the choir.

— but it doesn’t mention the “Obama success” question in the title, so people may not realize that it really is a “must watch” — or if you can’t watch it, at least read the relevant parts of the transcript (which is at the link in my post 1)
White House outlines Obama's pro-homosexual agenda
White House Web Site Now Supports Abortion
I want Obama to fail. Fail Miserably.
I pray for Obamas conversion and repentance. Barring that, I pray for fire from above.
I do NOT pray for his success. Why would I want fascism and evil to succeed?
I think there may be more than one choir and more than one preacher.
Why is this being treated (not by you, but by many news outlets) as such a shocking statement for Rush to make? All he did was parse the question to its logical implications and make the only response that would be logical for a conservative to make. Headline: Rush Opposes Socialism. Um, duh?
Would you like the anti-Christ to succeed. Would you pray for him to succeed?
Sadly true.
A nation of numbed morons has morphed the office of the Presidency into a rolled up version of American Idol, TMZ, Entertainment Tonight, Jery Springer, BRAVO, MTV and Oprah. We no longer have a President, but a celebrity. A rotten, decadent and dumbed-down culture has seized complete power and is quickly dragging the country into the sewer.
If it's moving us more to socialism, the answer is a resounding "NO!". There are many other items he should not succeed at as well. But there are also items that perhaps he should succeed at: bringing the US to energy independence, recovering from the financial pit we've fallen into...
To succeed at things that are good for the country, "yes".
The answer cannot be a simple "yes" or "no" without more definitive structuring of the question.
Kinda makes you ask yourself how long us freepers have before we have to get our news from CBS, CNN...
It’s like the Jews of Europe hoping that Hitler succeeded in implementing his agenda.
It is not a wonder that Rush stated the obvious, but that very few Republicans or conservatives want to go on record to echo Rush. Am I saying that GOP members are willing to sell their country down the river so as to be politically correct and adhere to template of ‘white guilt’? I hope I’m not right, but I have a sneaking suspicion in this weird political climate that I am not totally off base either.
This is exaclty like asking “Did you stop beating your wife?” No answer is correct.
Answer Yes: “Oh you want socialism?”
Answer No: “Oh, you hate the USA?”
To the extent BHO attempts to extend federal power over areas not enumerated therein, or into areas clearly reserved to the States and the People, I hope he and his supporters suffer humiliating public defeat.
A stupid question....a conversation that was started by commie propagandists.
As usual....we fall for it.
(imagine the MSM demanding Americans support GWB in 2000)
Sure I want BO to have a successful term in office.
I want him to get up every day and go tho the office. I want to hear every year that the “state of the union is strong”.
I want him to keep the citizens of our country safe.
I would like him to be be well liked and respected.
And I especially want him to try hard to implement the policies he feels are best for this country.
And yet, if those policies are in any way anti-life, anti-family, anti-freedom, or anti-AMERICAN, I want those initiatives thwarted by the political process.
On top of that, if he hasn’t had any bimbo eruptions by the end of his term, I would say that he’d had a successful presidency.
I do not want American socialism so why the hell would I want the clown pushing it to succeed?....Do we really need a thinking cap for this?
Why would I want someone who works against my and my kids’ best interests to succeed?
“Don’t you want him to succeed?” is a loaded question. Same logic as “It’s for the children! You are for children, aren’t you?”
