One convicted on bribery, the other attacks cops at crime scene saying she wasn't driving drunk
Now that the media has had it's near orgasmic reaction to Obama's inaugural, it's apparently time for some more "name that party" fun for everyone. Today we have incidents widely separated by distance, but not separated at all in at least one way. We have in Alabama a pair of convictions on bribery and conspiracy of a state wide politician and a Jefferson County Minister and in Chicago we have a City Alderman arrested for drunken driving who decided to get all up in the faces of the arresting officers as they attempted to do their job. The coincidence between the two stories is that, you guessed it, none of the stories detailing these incidents could find room in them to identify these politicians as Democrats. I know, I know. You're shocked, eh?
Our first case is that of Alabama Sen. E.B. McClain and his pal the very in-trouble Reverend Samuel Pettagrue, both convicted after only a scant 8 hours of deliberation by a jury of their peers. It was guilty on all 48 counts for the pair in a Birmingham court because "Pettagrue accepted nearly $760,000 in state grant money obtained by McClain to run a nonprofit foundation and then gave McClain more than $300,000 in kickbacks."

It would make a nice research project for those fairness in media types.
For anyone who has a brain, it is standard to know that if the story fails to mention the party of the troubled person in the headline or first paragraph then the person is a Democrat.
Republicas are ID’d immediately.
Ah, Birmingham, home of UAB Medical Center, a wonderful institution, and then, home of “Chicago lite” politics. A new embarrassment every few days, it seems.
The liberal/socialist media (United States) and the socialist/communist media (Europe) operate in the same manner when it comes to identifing persons.
In America politicians accused or convicted of crimes are designated by political party only if the are Republican. So if no designation is listed you are free to assume they are Democrats. Persons accussed of various crimes are designated as Christians if the reporters can determine that but they are never indetified as secular humanist for any reason. In American the issue of color and or nationality is also used inappropriately. The term youths or inner city children is usually used to avoid using the term black. Supsects however that are white are regualry id as such.
In Europe yopu will never find the designation muslim in a articel unless it is done so positively. If 5,000 human beings are rampaging through the streets burning card looting shops and beating police they are called “youths” they are never id’d as muslim youths however.
Unfortunately this is not going to change anytime in the near future.
People of common sense can and will realize who or what the people being reported on are. Those that drink the kool-aid it does matter for anyhow.........
This morning on one of the MSM news stations someone referred to “The President,” and I thought they were talking about Castro.
Bernie Goldberg (on O’Reilly) asserts frequently that bias is as much shown in what ISN’T reported, as what IS reported.
