Roberts completely screwed it up yesterday.

Did Roberts check Obama’s birth certificate while he was there?

As I said....methinks “the one” is a tad bit paranoid.

Wouldn’t want the Kenyan to go down in history with a tarnished oath.

there's 12 more balls or there are 12 more balls

Under Anglo-Saxon law, someone who hesitated or misspoke when taking an oath was assumed to be perjuring himself. God would not allow a false oath to be taken.

If you take that point of view, Roberts misspoke because the Supreme Court failed in its duty to require Obama to produce a birth certificate. And Obama misspoke because he was ineligible for the office.

Is this going to be the emerging pattern for his administration.

So ineffective as to have problems with the simplest of tasks.

What will he do in the face of real Clear & Present Danger?

...believes the oath was fine Tuesday, but one word was out of sequence so they did this out of a "an abundance of caution."

"Faithfully" was the out of placed word.

No matter how many times he repeats the oath, that doesn’t make him an AMERICAN!

Anyone here know how many times George Bush had to redo The Oath? Anyone? Anyone?

Supposedly Biden made a comment that pissed Obama off; anyone know what it was?

What I found particularly interesting was this line from the AP story:

“The president said he did not have his Bible with him, but that the oath was binding anyway.”

...roberts donned his black robe. "Are you ready to take the oath?" Roberts asked.

What is this?

Does Roberts' authority only flow when he wears his robe?

Was there something symbolic that Obama did before reciting the oath (besides playing "At Last" in the background)?

Can Roberts be official without wearing the robes (yes, of course, but why make him wear the robes)?

I guess that was Roberts' punishment -- being made to wear the robes when re-administering the oath.

How about a do-over on that inauguration poem? I’m sure there were some words left out of that stinker, ‘cause it didn’t make any sense to me.
