Where the $825 billion will -- and won't -- show up in your life. With our first glimpse into how the government wants to use $825 billion to juice the economy, it's clear that some of the money will quickly and directly affect most Americans lives, while other spending is intended to produce either longer-term, less tangible benefits or is targeted at narrow segments of the population -- like the unemployed.
Although the sum is huge, the money isn't intended to turn the economy around, but to keep it from falling even further into decay.

It means that our corrupt government and their corrupt supporters will all be dining on Kobe beef steaks while the rest of us are expected to be grateful for receiving a half of a hot dog.

I am indeed so relieved my husband actually found another job after a mere one month of full-time searching. He knows, and I know, as we all know, that NO ONE is hiring.
Luckily I was able to increase my P/T hours from 20 to 40 (and now I’ll go back down to 32 so my kids can get more attention from me again).
We are both grateful and indeed feeling blessed; but he is just ticked that he is now making what he made 7 yrs ago. . .

I thought Obama said we were all going to have to sacrifice and pitch in.
I see lots of handouts, but the sacrifices appear limited to those making over $75k per year.

And there is absolutely nothing in there that benefits us, we will be paying for it all.
