“She’s never had to work for a damn thing in her entire spoiled privileged life”

Yeah, they probably told her she would have to show up and that she would actually have work hours.

“Order came directly from POTUS MUZZIE HUSSEIN”

You might be on to something. The Cuomos are the Clintons’ enemies.

Wow. I thought she was pretty much in. I wonder what happened.

She tried the seat out and realized it was way too wide for her.

Either someone had something on her, or there's more Dim power brokerage afoot.

I'm guessing alcohol or drugs. She looks absolutely horrible.

This likely means Governor Paterson told her he wasn’t going to select her. She’s “withdrawing” in order to save face. Cheers to Governor Paterson for not letting the Liberal Media and Michael Bloomberg, King of New York City, boss him around.

Prolly moving back to Massachusetts, Teddy needs to retire and Deval Patrick got some promises. *spit*

Tinfoil hat alert: I wouldn't be surprised if Teddy took a health dive yesterday knowing Caroline was not getting the appointment (or they figured MA would be a better fit). So Caroline was given the perfect out and rationale for moving to MA to help take care of Kennedy, establish her residency, and then Teddy will retire and she will get appointed.

As to whether she was actually going to be turned down and got a heads up to save face seems pretty clear. Maybe the fact that media reports stated that Patterson would give Caroline the appointment in exchange for the Kennedy machine supporting Patterson in his 2010 run for Governor may have played a role because it sounded like a quid pro quo, probably legal, but still looking like impropriety on its face.

I’m betting that it’s former Governor Mario Cuomo.

Teddy had a seizure. She's gonna wait for him to either croak or resign, and she'll grab that. Much less controversy.

Yea, but doesn't she live in NY? Oh wait... carpet bagging worked for Hillary.

I wonder what happened?

Well, the Dems want to always have a Kennedy in office somewhere (to pull your heart-strings over John and Robert). Then yesterday, Teddy had convulsions and things looked grim. But when they heard that Ted recovered, they have said to themselves "No need for Caroline, 'cause that ***'ll never die."

Why would Paterson announce on this coming Saturday, a slow news day?

NY Congressman Kirsten Gillibrand is like Hillary’s mini-me.
