Amoral in Gaza: UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon betrays UN principles by blaming Israel
NY Daily News ^ | January 21 2008

Visiting the war zone after the 22-day military clash between Israel and Hamas, Secretary General Ban Ki Moon descended to the amoral depths that have become all too customary at the United Nations.

Ban's first stop was Gaza, where, a spokesman said, he wanted to "express solidarity with Palestinian suffering." There, he blamed Israel for the destruction and civilian casualties that Hamas had provoked - even though Hamas had provoked both strategically, almost gleefully.

There was no mention that Hamas had rained rockets indiscriminately on Israel for several years in its avowed quest to destroy the Jewish state. Or that Hamas had broken a tenuous ceasefire before Israel retaliated. Or that Hamas had stockpiled a huge and increasingly lethal arsenal.

The UN is a money laundering operation masquerading as an international institution. The leadership are white collar criminals. But they wear nice suits. It goes with the job.

UN Monkey criticizes the country that is defending itself. Where is the justice?

I'd expect that the Sec Gen knows the same things that we all know: How Hamas uses "civilian dense locations" as firing positions..... how Hamas stores weapons in and fires weapons from hospitals/schools/mosques.... how Hamas uses UN ambulances to transport their fighters.... how Hamas fired on IDF from the UN Compound... etc. etc.

So there are only two questions:

1. Why does he ignore all that when making his meaningless pronouncements?

2. Does he actually live in such a controlled access ivory tower that news of these things doesn't reach him? (I lean more towards #1 as the operative question)

Wow. This lunatic makes me nostalgic for the even-handedness and diplomatic reserve of Kofi Annan.

Does anybody else wonder why we still support the UN?
It tries to undermine the Constitution of the USA and
would love to cripple our Constitutional Republic.

In over 60 years the only major politicians who tried
to get the USA out of the UN were Goldwater and President
Ronald Reagan who did kick UNESCO out.

16 out of 17 of the AMERICANS that were involved
in creating the UN were later identified, in sworn
testimony, as secret communist agents.

The first Secretary General was the AMERICAN Alger Hiss.
Alger Hiss served time in prison pursuant to his
involvement in a Communist spy ring.

Many of the other AMERICANS that were involved in
creating the UN fled the country, to avoid prosecution.

The ONE AMERICAN, that was involved in creating the UN;
and was NOT later identified, in sworn testimony, as a
secret communist agent, was Dean Acheson.
Dean Acheson’s law firm was the legal representative of
the Soviet Union, in US courts.

If the AMERICANS that were involved in creating the UN
were Communists, what do you think we got from the rest
of the world?

“UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon betrays UN principles by blaming Israel”

Looks to me like he affirmed UN “values.”

Please, pull the U.S. out of the U.N., and push the U.N. out of the U.S.

The UN has no principles except hating Jews, hating Christians, hating Americans, and hating G-d.

This guy is a jerk. Israel is a member nation of the UN. Did he go visit Israel for any reason at all? Yet he goes to visit a non-member no-mans land run by a bunch of terrorists. His job is to lead the UN and defend the rights of the member states. His duty is to defend Israel’s sovereign right, not to blame it and certainly not to support terrorist jackals that vow to destroy UN members.

Hamas doesn’t just want to destroy Israel. They want to destroy all the states and turn them into one big caliphate. Their entire ideology is 100%, diametrically opposed to the UN charter, and this jackass leader of the UN goes to express “solidarity” with them.

UN is worthless in all matters... this is but another example.
