This scene though terribly anti-PC today...is very very good on satire especially with the recent POTUS election. In fact the whole movie makes a very pertinent statement then and now as society has shifted completed to the 'the reality'.
Honestly, Clevone's last statement nails it with what I interpret to be The Left's long time stance with regards to the general population and Zero's megalomania-narcissistic image of himself:

Do you know of any report that states the reason why Obama is doing this? The 0bama administration is following orders from Code Pink.

Obama's request to suspend all war crimes trials at Guantanamo prompted a judge Wednesday to halt the case against a young Canadian in what may be the beginning of the end for the Bush administration's system of trying alleged terrorists...the lawyer for Toronto native Omar Khadr didn't object. Oh, just a "young Candian" eh? French-Canadian? Amish-Canadian? Hmmm, something doesn't seem right about this.

Does a President have the constitutional authority to stop or even meddle in a trial?

"Oh, just a "young Candian" eh? French-Canadian? Amish-Canadian? Hmmm, something doesn't seem right about this. " How about "terrorist-Canadian"? :-)

five men charged in the Sept. 11 attacks want their trial to continue, hoping for a death sentence that could bring them martyrdom. What the hell does a terrorist have to do to get martyred around here?
C'mon brak. They're killing us, they want to die, YES we CAN!

So far no news media, nor Obama, have even ventured a guess as to why this is good for the USA. Because someone might get panties put on their head silly. I'm guessing you're not a NTY reader. (me either)

And it begins... Americans are going to die because of this mans flawed, naive idealogy. It may not be tomorrow, or the next day. But it will happen when his policies are up and running. I am really trying to be open minded and give him a chance. But he is really making it hard
I agree that people are going to die because of his policies, and those of his appointed cronies. Unlike you, I'm not willing to give him a "chance"
I wonder when millions are dead from a terrorist attack(s)that are a result of his CHANGE, whether this guy will be held accountable by the American populace, or they'll just believe any excuses peddled to them. I just know the worthless media will cover for him no matter how many are dead.

“Do you know of any report that states the reason why Obama is doing this”?
No. I suspect he wants a legal advisory team to opine about trying the terrorists in civilian criminal courts rather than military tribunals.
You know what that means - the courts tied up forever and big fees for lefty lawyers. Oh, and guess who gets to pay for their public defense?
