No one gets the fascination with Michelle Obama, fashion plate, more than her husband.
Invoking another president with a glamorous wife—that would be, maybe, John F. Kennedy? — President Obama told military guests at the Commander in Chief Ball last night, “I have the special honor of being the guy who accompanied Michelle Obama to the ball.”
That got a big laugh, but it would be a few minutes before the first lady made her entrance, in an ivory chiffon dress. But when she did, oh, what a roar.
It was an amazing day for Mrs. Obama — chic and bone-chilling, and maybe at times her feet hurt. For Tuesday night’s round of balls, she chose a fluffy, many-layered gown by a 26-year-old designer named Jason Wu. The dress had a one-shoulder strap and was flecked with organza flowers and crystals.
If Mrs. Obama is a different and more stylish first lady than the country has seen in a while, she proved it Tuesday with some striking fashion choices. The Wu gown was perhaps not as sophisticated as the coat-and-dress ensemble she wore for the swearing-in, but it still made a statement.
As for her vivid yellow inaugural outfit, it seemed designed to stand out against the traditional red and somber black coats on the Capitol steps.
Here is a bolder woman, a serious woman from Chicago and Harvard who is not afraid to express herself with fashion, and it is the kind of confidence that many women will recognize in themselves. Her clothes tell us that she has an adventurous spirit, as well as a sense of humor, and if some of these garments have almost an old-fashioned womanly quality, then they tell us that she is indeed not your average fashionista.

OK - going out on a limb here. I believe Michelle O. may be pregnant. Has anyone else called that out? Just based on observations of her over the last few days, and her absence weeks proceeding today, and my wife’s observations. Any takers?
The dress was hideous and it doesn’t matter what she wears she’s ugly. She has gorilla teeth and mouth and she’s bigger than zer0.
She has put on some weight. I noticed that right away. She is also bow legged, and can’t even walk in high heels. You might be right, weight gain for sure.
She looked really tired tonight. That is often a sign. And that would be a story, too. Wonder what would happen if?

They're going to try to convince us that Michelle O is "glamorous," when in fact, she is anything but.
But the weaker-minded people who fall for the media's mind-control tactics will buy into it.

That’s funny. Months ago I said on a Freeper thread that Michelle and Barak, continuing the Camelot mystique, would produce a baby in the White House if they won, to wow the MSM and the masses with. Just like Jack and Jackie Kennedy did. Continue the saga.
Her brother is the head basketball coach at Oregon State University.

Truth be told, someone is giving her bad fashion advice.
She should be wearing simple, and classically designed, clothes.

Thanks for posting the pics. After looking at them, and thinking back on the times I’ve seen Madame Obama on TV, I have to conclude that her main fashion problem is simply that she doesn’t stand up straight. I don’t care if she’s six feet or better — her height is not her problem; it’s the fact that she stoops and acts like she hates her height. Look at the way she is standing in both those photographs. Even with her thick waist, big flat butt, and bowlegs, if she would simply stand up straight, she would suddenly look ten times better. A tall woman who presents herself well can be magnificent! But a tall woman who apologizes for her height (by slumping and slouching) will always look like a fashion victim in whatever she wears.

I thought that choker was a piece of lace around the neck of the dress. A choker goes higer on your neck, I would think.

As a single, horny male I find nothing attractive at all about Mrs Obama. It has nothing to do with race or party lines, she just doesn’t present herself as very feminine. Doesn’t matter what dress she has on. She moves and acts very manly, I said it in another thread, she looks like a gawky WNBA player.
